Shipping Information
Please read this information carefully and in its entirety.
Upon completion of your order, you will receive an e-mail confirmation including your order number. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation shortly after placing your order, then your order was not successfully transacted.
Please note that order payments are processed at the time the order is placed, both for books that are in stock and also for books that are pre-ordered. Please be clear: your credit card or PayPal account is charged when the order is placed, and the transaction should appear on your statement as "SP * SKYBOX PRESS BOOK"
Books that are in stock typically ship within 5-7 days of the order being placed, and possibly longer during peak seasons, holidays, or for sales and promotions.
For books that are pre-ordered, please refer to the specific product page for shipping information.
Books ordered with standard shipping are mailed via United States Postal Service (USPS), for which USPS suggests 5-9 business days for delivery (after the book has been shipped) depending on the location; deliveries may take longer during peak seasons and holidays.
Buyers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address.
Please double-check your shipping address when you receive your order confirmation e-mail.
For orders placed with delivery via USPS, the shipping address entered by the buyer will be standardized per the USPS. Orders placed for delivery via FedEx will be shipped to the address exactly as entered by the buyer.
By placing an order, buyers agree to the following:
Orders shall be deemed to have been delivered successfully and as promised by Skybox Press based on the delivery confirmation tracking results of the carrier.
If a buyer claims not to have received their delivery, but (1) the carrier produces written details of the confirmed delivery and (2) the address to which the order was shipped is confirmed to be the same as the shipping address entered by the buyer when the order was placed, then Skybox Press shall bear no responsibility or obligation to refund, replace, or resend the buyer's order.
If a buyer places an order and provides an address that is incorrect, and if that buyer's package is returned to Skybox Press, then the buyer shall be solely responsible for paying all additional postal charges to have the package re-shipped, including postage for both the package to be returned by the carrier to Skybox Press and also postage for the package to be re-sent by Skybox Press to the buyer. Or, the buyer may choose to have the cost of their order refunded minus (1) the cost of the original shipping, (2) the cost for the package to be returned by the carrier to Skybox Press, plus (3) a $5.00 handling and restocking fee.
If a buyer places an order and provides an address that is incorrect, and if that package is shown, based on the carrier's delivery confirmation, to have delivered to the address that the buyer provided--even though the buyer made a mistake when entering the address and entered an incorrect address unintentionally (for example, if a buyer intended to have a book shipped to 1234 109th Street but accidentally entered 1234 190th Street), then the buyer agrees that that package shall be deemed to have been delivered successfully and the order shall be deemed to have been fulfilled successfully, and neither Skybox Press nor the carrier shall have any responsibility for recovering, forwarding, replacing, or refunding the buyer's order.
If a buyer places an order and subsequently moves, regardless of if or when s/he submits a change of address request with the USPS, and if that package is shown, based on the carrier's delivery confirmation, to have delivered to the address that the buyer provided at the time of placing his/her order, then the buyer agrees that that package shall be deemed to have been delivered successfully and the order shall be deemed to have been fulfilled successfully, and neither Skybox Press nor the carrier shall have any responsibility for recovering, forwarding, replacing, or refunding the order.
If a buyer places an order and subsequently moves and does submit a change of address request with the USPS, and if that package is shown, based on the carrier's delivery confirmation, to be in the process of forwarding, then Skybox Press shall not have any responsibility for tracking, replacing, or refunding the order.
If a buyer places a pre-order and then either moves or realizes s/he entered an incorrect shipping address, or if s/he wishes to change the shipping method (from standard to expedited, or vice-versa), the buyer may contact Skybox Press in writing to request a change of address or shipping method, in which case Skybox Press will endeavor to, with no guarantee that it can, make the buyer's requested change if books have not yet shipped; however, once a mailing label for an order has been generated, Skybox Press will not grant buyer requests for a change of address or shipping method.
